This is a wiki for the Environmental Justice efforts led by the School of Public Health at Loma Linda University in partnership and collaboration with the Alianza Coachella Valley.

Loma Linda University team works in partnership with CIRS, Pueblo Unido, Coachella Unincorporated, the Alianza Coachella Valley, Sierra Club, and Audubon together for a common goal. We have been working with communities of Thermal, Mecca, Oasis, and North Shore near the northwest shore of the Salton Sea around the Salton Sea Management Program to build stronger coalitions and advocate for social resiliency as part of the plan. This alliance has worked at the Salton Sea developing youth and adult community members who engage in community science to help advocate for their community and take action now. The best definition and tips for community science is here as described by the Thriving Earth Exchange.
